Technical content for photonics and precision components

I write documentation and build tools for component makers, typically with 20 to 400 employees.

Explore the spectrum

Semiconductor and EUV lithography

EUV scanners print chips with 13.5 nm light. Most materials absorb it, so the optics are multilayer mirrors in vacuum, and spectral purity filters keep the source’s deep-UV and infrared light off the mask and wafer.

I design EUV filters and Mo/Si multilayer mirrors and model them with CXRO data. I also design DUV coatings for 193 nm and 248 nm, and write the datasheets and application notes for all of them.

Based in California, working worldwide

I’m based in Ventura County, California, and work with companies across the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and beyond, remotely. Contact me to arrange a call. Every project uses public-release information only, and at kickoff I ask how your products are classified.
