My love,

Since meeting you, I haven’t just fallen completely in love with you, you’ve made me fall in love with Malibu, too. I have fallen for the vibrant green mountains, the endless ocean views, the food we share, and the breathtaking magic of every sunrise and sunset. But most of all, I love the way the golden light shines on your skin as you lay on the sand after one of our hikes.

I still smile when I think about the day you first played this song for me. We were driving to grab breakfast, and you shyly admitted you were a little nervous to share it because the lyrics talk about falling in love with someone in Malibu. I thought it was the absolute cutest thing in the world. I loved the song so much that I saved it right then and there, just so I could listen to it and think of you every single time it plays.

This song also reminds me of a new dream you’ve awakened in me. I’ve come to love Malibu so deeply that I’ve made it a goal to one day have a home there, or somewhere close by. Maybe a place just for us? I love the way you change my mind and shift my perspectives, but more importantly, I love how you inspire me. You make me want to work harder and reach further in life. I want to give you everything you could ever deserve, and I will always do my absolute best to make that happen.
